The Spartan Precision Equipment ‘Sentinel’ Rifle & Optics Support System' has been specifically designed to provide a stable mounting system for a broad range of rifles.

Calling it a 'tripod' completely understates its versatility as a complete shooting system for the true active hunter, and compliments the existing 'Spartan' bipod range.

The world patented & innovative 'Spartan' magnetic attachment system is designed to facilitate the instant fitting & removal of the rifle to or from the system, without tools. 

Capable of being configured in 'field' conditions as a tripod, bipod or mono-pod for rifle use. It can also be instantly adapted (*) to allow the mounting of spotting scopes, cameras, thermal imaging, night vision, anemometers and other devices. 

The unique design enables an attached rifle to traverse through a full 360-degree arc, whilst remaining very firmly attached to the head unit. This  creates an incredibly smooth & stable shooting platform, making successive shots on multiple targets achievable & reliable.

This design also allows an attached rifle a wide range of elevation & depression for real world hunting situations. A high degree of rifle cant is also facilitated using the innovative swivel head design, for where a level surface is difficult to achieve.

Our new high quality leg adjustment system enables the user to quickly adjust the leg length to suit specific requirements.

The compact design enables the user to rapidly acquire & identify targets, stabilise the rifle & manage rifle recoil. Its light weight allows the system to be quickly & easily carried, deployed by single person. 

Additionally, the tripod legs can also be removed individually from the head unit, so that it can also be used as a large bipod for seated, kneeling or standing shots (**) where quicker deployment is required. 

Legs can also be removed from the head unit and be used as a monopod  for the quick temporary stabilisation of optical devices in the field.

The new two part foot design fitted to the legs permits any of the legs to be used as very effective trekking poles, for use on steep ground, crossing obstacles or carrying heavy loads, and can be retro fitted with snow baskets.

The Sentinel can be used with all Spartan Precision Equipment 12mm adapters making it a great addition to your existing bipod. Your tripod will be supplied with one of the following  adapters of your choice:

Each 'Sentinel' Rifle & Optics System is hand built by us with love!

The Spartan Sentinel head unit & ''Swivel Head' are CNC  machined in six separate components using very high grade AL7075-T7351 aerospace quality aluminium. This provides high strength without weight penalty. It is one of the highest strength aluminium alloys available, with a 45% higher yield strength than austenitic stainless steels. 

The steel components are manufactured from high quality Stainless steel 316 (1.4401)

The system uses an innovative & world patented magnetic attachment using rare earth N52 Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets, which provide the consistent power. The N52 is presently the most powerful grade of Neodymium, and does not degrade with time or use.

Multi layered aerospace quality pultruded carbon-fibre, supplied by by a top European manufacturer, has been used by use to manufacture the new carbon fibre leg units. These light, but very strong leg stanchions are produced on bespoke mandrels. By ensuring a rigorous  manufacturing process, were are able to offer carbon fibre legs with the necessary stiffness & superior strength to support a rifle or optics system.  The weight of carbon-fibre is about 60% that of aluminium. 

Our new leg top sections are machined to thread easily & securely into the head unit of the system. This component is also CNC machined in from high quality 7075-T7351 aluminium billet. 

These are now produced as a two part unit that that is both threaded & bonded into the carbon leg stanchion for exceptional strength & durability. 

New two part  CNC machined feet are used, with sharp & durable  tungsten carbide tips, for grip on difficult surfaces. These are covered by durable tethered,  synthetic boots. 

These new two piece feet are designed to be replaceable when worn and also enable the fitting of our 'snow baskets', when being used as trekking poles.
